Feeding South Florida is ALWAYS in need of more volunteers at both of our warehouse locations! Our main warehouse is located in Pembroke Park (Broward County) and our second warehouse is in Boynton Beach (Palm Beach County). We rescue and distribute 41 million pounds of food per year to help serve the 784,110 individuals - 264,280 of whom are children - in South Florida struggling to put food on the table. We work with a network of approximately 400 nonprofit partner agencies, such as soup kitchens and food pantries, in order to ensure that food assistance is provided to throughout our quad-county service area.
In order for us to ensure a constant and consistent flow of food for our neighbors in need of assistance, we rely on the support of thousands of volunteers every year to inspect and sort donated food to ensure it's safe for distribution.
We have 10 recurring volunteer shifts every week, where volunteers will inspect, sort, build, and repack food so that it is ready for distribution through our direct service programs and partner agencies.
Whether you’re a group or an individual, we are always in need of more volunteers to assist with our mission of ending hunger in South Florida! Click the appropriate tabs above for more information on how to get involved.
